The MyDiet™ program provides two basic tools to establish the ideal weight of a person: healthy weight charts and the Body Mass Index Calculator.
To use the healthy weight charts, simply find your gender (vertical axis) and your height (horizontal axis). According to this method, you’ll find the ideal weight for a person of your gender and height.
Based on the chart, you’re overweight if your weight is above the recommended healthy weight for your height and gender.
Note that the healthy weight chart does not take into account the constitution of your body, fat percentage, or muscle mass. However, these aspects also have an impact on your weight. So a person with a small constitution, but a high fat percentage, may have a “healthy weight” that is lower than the one for a person of the same height and a lower fat percentage, but larger constitution.
